What he's saying is correct, however it doesn't mean that an "us vs them" mentality is invalidated.

Sure, we're all people. And historically people have strong in group preferences that typically result in conflict when another group comes along. This is nothing new, and has been happening for centuries. To think that we'll be able to undue centuries of evolution under the premise of "us vs them" just seems absurd to me. Although Rogan has likely smoked himself retarded, so perhaps that explains it.
