My thoughts exactly, but from a matchmaking standpoint, a loss for either almost guarantees they don’t make the playoffs, leaving room for someone they’ll actually want to push, like Ditcheva or the hot Aussie girl whose name escapes me at the moment

Ya I am hearing rumblings that they might shutter it all in the coming months after the event coming up. It's a shame that the only two options will be getting underpaid by UFC or having your body destroyed in 2-3 years in PFL and never coming back the same

There will always be KSW, Oktagon, Rizin, and the likes but alas. Not even counting ONE as a legit MMA promotion anymore. The MMA landscape looks the worst I have ever seen and the UFC monopoly only grows
 
The thing with Bellator is probably the same thing that happened to Strikeforce. They had to keep it open until all of the TV deals were up. They stripped the meat off the bone but they could not completely shut it down until they fulfilled their obligations.

Pfl is just an inferior promotion and general idea

Bellator with more tournaments, like the old days, is better

Same. If Shev wins, well, then they are even again and some people will call for a rematch. Let them both fight someone new, but the fight between Fiort and Blanchfield sort of screws up the opportunity. Of course, the UFC could give both Grasso and Shevchenko lower-ranked fighters with an eye toward a trilogy. Really, I would not have made the fight between Fiort and Erin. I wonder how long both Grasso and Val are supposed to be out dealing with their injuries?
