I like the "He gets us" commercials. It's a really good way to put those principles forward in a way that illustrates the message that chrisitianity is supposed to advance.

I'm also not surprised if there are people who claim to be Christians that are offended when presented with what the principles would look like in the modern era. As someone else said in this thread -- for some people (some), Christianity has become a political tribe, not a religion anymore. They still go to church but they're not there for the religious messages, they're there for credibility when they get into political arguments.
