OCEAN'S 8 (First Trailer Released)

What's with remaking movies with all-female casts recently? I don't think any of those were any good (except pornos).

They should remake Brokeback Mountain with an all-female cast.

Yes, totally down for a female Brokeback mountain.

There are way too many remakes in general. I guess they're starting to run out of ideas in Hollywood.

Whenever they try to do a group of thought/smart girls in a movie it almost always comes off really cheesy and stupid. It can be done, Tarrentino did a good job with "Deathproof", but I don't think this is going to end up being one of the exceptions.

Still waiting on an all male "Steel Magnolias"

I'm still waiting on an all male cast of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

Now we're talking! I'm casting Scarlett Johannson and Mila Kunis personally, oh shit yeah.

I'm down for a role in Steel Magnolias

what's next Mean Boys

Gosh dang it...I hate the idea. Pitt, Clooney, Damon, Cheadle and the rest of the cast of the last Oceans reboot had this chemistry about them. I can't think of 4 let alone 11 women in Hollywood who will be able to pull this off. I hope it's a box office disaster.

Hey I'm down for the female version of Brokeback Mountain

ronda and that obnoxious fat chick melissa mccarthy will be in it for sure. in other words, i will be skipping it

Maybe come up with something new instead of all these god damn remakes.

great, i can wait for this.

These all-female movies must be making more money than I know. The only hits I can think of are Bridesmaids, the Heat and that Amy Schumer movie. But Hollywood must be convinced it's a surefire formula if they're doing Ocean's Eleven and the all-girl Ghostbusters hasn't even been released yet.

I predict a couple of current "it" girls:

Girl from Hunger Games
Hermoine

A couple of these former "it" girls:

Mila Kunis
Scarlet Johansen
Natalie Portman
Kiera Knightly

A couple of seasoned hotties:

Sandra Bullock
Jennifer Garner
Jennifer Connoly

A couple of girls with unusual credentials:

Melissa McCarthy
Parker Posey
Christina Ricci
Dakota Fanning

A couple of old stars:

Meryl Streep
Glen Close

This. Good luck to whomever has the "privilege" of directing a cast of a bunch of A-list actresses.

As far as I know there were only two in Ocean´s 12 and they hated each other to the point they refused to share any screen time. Go figure what will happen when you add nine more. (Of course they will all act like they are super best friends in the film´s promotion)

not racially diverse enough (we know Sofia Vergara will probably show up in this :icon_twis).
Viola Davis as one of the leaders.
Octavia Spencer playing Don Cheadles part.
Maybe Lucy Liu will get a relevant acting gig again to fill the asian role

I don't know why people get rustled over this. Let them make it, you don't have to go to see it. Let the work and the market figure out how successful it is.

One question, why isn't a woman directing?

Ah, you're right, my ethnocentrism was showing. I also would like to add Kerri Washington and the black female lead from 12 Years a Slave to your list. And I'd like to add Emma Stone to the list of current "it" girls.

We should probably just look to the female actresses Clooney likes working with. Julia Roberts could probably be added to the list.

it was only a matter of time. I personally can't wait until all the remakes with women are done and the remakes with animals begin. oceans 11 full of animals? sign me up

what's next Mean Boys

mean boys would just be called white boys
and it would take place at a 711
with boxer shorts getting way too much screen time
