Anyone think Notre Dame will be able to stay with Ohio state? Maybe it's a let down for OSU after not getting to the playoff.
There are a ton of Ohio State fans in the Phoenix area. They even have a city named Buckeye.
Fan bases shouldn't have a say in a coach's job.
McCaffery, Watson, Henry are the finalists being invited to New York. Sucks for Baker Mayfield, he deserved to go.
ideal world and actual are very different.
Here's what the playoff would look like if they did it like the FCS: http://challonge.com/tournaments/bracket_generator?ref=1XplGQ8UsY
#17 Baylor @ #16 Oklahoma State (winner plays @ #1 Clemson)
#24 Arkansas State @ #9 Florida State (winner plays @ #8 Notre Dame)
#20 LSU @ #13 Northwestern (winner plays @ #4 Oklahoma)
#21 Western Kentucky @ #12 Ole Miss (winner plays @ #5 Iowa)
#18 Houston @ #15 Oregon (winner plays @ #2 Alabama)
#23 Bowling Green @ #10 North Carolina (winner plays @ #7 Ohio State)
#19 Florida @ #14 Michigan (winner plays @ #3 Michigan State)
#22 San Diego State @ #11 TCU (winner plays @ #6 Stanford)
Notre Dame hasn't won a major bowl since the 93 season and got raped in all 4 BCS appearances.
Meanwhile, Urbz is 6-1 in major bowl games, only losing to Clemson 45-40 in the 2014 Orange Bowl.
Bowl odds:
(6.5) tOSU vs ND
(6.5) Stanford vs Iowa
(6.5) Ole Miss vs Okie Lite
(7) FSU vs Houston
(9.5) Bama vs Sparty
(3.5) OK vs Clemson
I'm all over Clemson (+3.5) Iowa (+6.5), Houston (+7), and Sparty (+9.5).
Wow, 4 underdogs. That's not like me.
Normally I'd be all over Ole Piss (-6.5) against that slow and unathletic Okie State squad but Ole Piss badly laid an egg in last year's New Year's 6 bowl and that scares me.
