God condemned homosexuality because he wanted people to breed. Now that we are overpopulated, he's cool with it.
God still only believes that sex is for a man and his wife and they become one flesh (Matthew 19). And any sexual activity outside of that is sinful. God has not changed on that.

Actually the same thing was said about Christianity. In Antiquity, Jews said Jesus was a false prophet and a magician. Christians responded that the Jews were disobedient prophet killers who always rejected true prophets and called them sorcerors, which is why God punished and disinherited the Jews.

The Quran then repeats that exact same argument against the Christians and Jews both.

The Quran is extremely close to Christianity, particularly in its early layers. Over time it diverges, and Sunnni Islam diverges even more, building up and revering an enormous body of non-Qur'anic mythology about the new prophet.
This man knows what he is talking about. Even when I dont agree with everything he says and he probably put me on double yellow warnings. I am just gonna say you seem like knowledgeable in many subjects. its actually very impressive

The Old Testament predicts the coming of Christ the Messiah.
The New Testament predicts the coming of false prophets.
Both events occurred
Big difference, wouldn't you think?

Christianity has evolved and Christians has basically written new bible and decided to follow part of their religion. I am comparing the original Christianity and Islam. As religions they are very close. But when you have gays marrying in churches, its fair to say Christianity has changed a lot

The old Muslim adage: Christians have changed the Bible. Nice showing your colors here.

Muhammad took a lot of material from early jewish, christian and pagan sources.

Certain demographics are overpopulated. Europeans are dying.

So that's a great mantra for all these white idiots to be repeating.

They're holding back for fear of overpopulating the world while everyone else breeds like rabbits on their dime.

Couple things. First 'Christ' is just the Greek translation of 'Messiah.' The Old Testament has a lot of messianic predictions, no doubt, and Christianity split off from the broader group of messianic Judaism sects during the second temple period, all of which took the OT to predict a NEW messiah (anointed one, in the sense of a Davidic king annointed by God to redeem Israel).

The Old Testament also predicts false prophets, calling them sorcerors. And this is what the Jews who didn't believe in Jesus cited when calling him a magician. The NT just continues this old Jewish theme. It's not NT-specific. It goes back to the Torah. That's why the Pharisees call Jesus a sorceror in the gospels. This is what Jews always called false prophets.

The Quran takes this same background and basically says look guys, it's not that complicated. God's true prophets always come and give the *same fucking message,* which is that God will pass judgment and punish the wicked, and the righteous believers will be saved. Good people saved, bad people punished, that is the message that all true prophets bring, and everything else that religions try to claim (only Jews will be saved, Jesus was himself God) is a bunch of whackjob priestly bullshit.

Ironically, Islam then developed its own whackjob specializations.

How this thread has exactly turned into another Christianity discussion?

All religions, especially Abrahamic ones, will have much in common, but that's not to say that are similar. As far as tenets go, Islam is far removed from Christianity in what I consider to be relevant points, i.e. morality and salvation.

People also falsely claim that both groups worship the same God, unaware that the religions themselves change the nature of God so drastically that it's axiomatically wrong. One need only look at the scales of Islam to see the fundamental differences.

At the end, was this POS a right winger, who represents all the far right, or a crazy muslim who doesn't represent islam at all?

All I know is that this story of Muslim terrorism in Germany got BURIED by the media. Weird. Iranian Muslim kills people in Germany is not the story.. And I guess that's, wtevr.. But it seems the news is looking to normalize this kind of thing, or something.

But the core tenet of Christianity is that Jesus is equal to God in everything and not just a Prophet.
How can Islam be 'extremely close' to Christianity (your words) when their basic book contradicts this?
I almost feel I'm debating a non-Christian here, sorry if I am mistaken.

Islam stole the religion of the jews and said they had it all wrong. Then Islam goes on to contradict itself over and over.
Islam does NOT say the wicked are punished and the just are not. It says muslims will not be punished and the NON BELIEVERS are to be punished and subjugated in this life and the next.

You will find in teh Quran their false god excusing all sorts of sins committed by Muhammed----but in the bible you will see the wicked punished and the just get their reward. They are not excusing anyone's transgressions against God but their is repentance and purifying in fire.

And yes, the Jews do predict a Messiah and when He came most did not believe. Others did and became the first christians.
It has been over 2000 years since the last prophet recognized by jews. Pretty obvious the fulfillment came but they did not understand.

But the core tenet of Christianity is that Jesus is equal to God in everything and not just a Prophet.

Islam is closer to Judaism than christianity but it is a horrible remake.
God is the father, the son, and the holy spirit.

Here is Jesus in the islam. LOL

^ Islam is just the absolute dumbest fuck religion. The more you learn about the Quran, the more you see why it bears the fruit it bears
