Nor did Clinton address the Syrian casualties that might result from a no-fly zone. In a 2013 speech to Wall Street firm Goldman Sachs, Clinton told attendees that establishing a no-fly zone would “kill a lot of Syrians,” because it would require the U.S. to take out Syrian air defenses, which are located in populous areas.

As Wallace mentioned, Clinton’s support for a no-fly zone marks not only a major disagreement with her Republican opponent Donald Trump, but with Obama.

Let's not pretend Hillary would have been any better.

7 months into Trump's Presidency, and 9 1/2 months since the election. It is time to let, "But...but..Hillary!" go. It's done. She lost, get over it.

Its amazing how they turned this into a Hillary Clinton and Iraq War Resolution conversation isn't it? Just a stall tactic until they find some sentence or even just a punctuation mark that they can rally around and make a stand.

You forget the mid post pivot to a WR cover band rendition of the Sex Pistols.

They say Bannon gave his resignation on the 7th. I wonder if he knew this was coming down the pipe and that's why he left.

Holy shit. We have to compare the two, because when your guys are whining about how terrible he is, people are providing the counter arguement that this would have happened either way. In fact Trump lied and/or decided that this course of action was the best course according to the information he didn't have during his campaign. Hillary was straight up War hawking.

No, we don't have to compare them anymore. That is over now. Dog shit policy is dog shit policy. Also, you're only speculating about what she would have done, thereby making the already pointless comparison even more irrelevant.

100% related. Bannon constantly hinted that if Trump went McCain on us, we would know via his own departure.

Guess we know.

A year of pussy-grabbing and KGB conspiracy nonsense -- wasted energy. This is what we should have been worrying about; Trump caving to those beloved 'moderates'.

So what, you want this to turn into an echo chamber where you just post hotdog gifs and rag on Trump?

And I posted in another comment her exact quote of what she would have done in Syria.

Trump was better than Hillary no matter what, especially on foreign policy, but we need to move on from that. The Hillary crisis was averted.

The Trump presidency was guys like Bannon and Sessions who leveraged the broader movement into Washington, not Trump himself (symbolic figurehead) or his greasy in-laws. I'm quite worried that we have another Bush/Obama turd in office via his new surroundings.

Look at the last few articles on breitbart and its clear tonight could be a turning point. They are not happy

Broader movement that contains both Bannon and Sessions as standard bearers? Do go on.

Ok. Let's say we pull out of Afghanistan and a new ISIS or Al Queda is created. Would you be ok with that?
What kind of nonsensical question is this? Hey, I have a stupid question for you:

Would you be ok with blowing up a village and creating dozens of future terrorists in the course of this action? Hunh? Hanh?

There's two common misconceptions floating around this thread:

1. Trump was the peace candidate
2. Trumpsters actually want peace

Would you be ok babysitting Afghanistan for a hundred years or just making it the 51st state if that was the only sure way prevent a new ISIS?
