Anyone been to Japan

I want to go to Japan bad deciding if Europe or Japan will be my next vacation. Probably Japan with my son coming next year. When I do Europe I want like 2 week minimum.
I guess if you are on the west coast parts of Europe are just as far as japan though

Been a few times, but didn't get to really explore too much. Mainly expo centers and some walking around nearby.

Would love to visit Hokkaido, and not work while im there.

I loved Tokyo but found the street system very confusing so instead of trying to find specific places, we just roamed until we found cool stuff. Also went to Mt Fuji for the natural springs and it was dope. Food was amazing and their subway system is really easy to navigate.

Bring a warm jacket. Japan in winter ain't no joke! And
Is that a euphemism? I'm going to assume it's a euphemism.

You ever had Kobe beef? (that's definitely a euphemism)
Haha, no, real sushi. I'm a wannabe Anthony Bourdain: I travel for food. Usually go to asia 2-3x a year and will have layovers that allow me to visit a few countries for travel eating.

Here's some info from my last trip-

Tokyo- what you'd expect. Capsule hotels are good if you're alone & trying to budget. They're clean & loaded with floor after floor of facilities (restaurant, chillout room, massage, bathhouse etc etc) & only about $40US per night.
Kawaguchiko- Near Fuji. Beautiful little resort town, old Japanese feel, big lake that's great to ride a bike around. Also near the Suicide Forest from the well known VICE doco.
Fukuoka- Nothing special but probably the easiest girls I found in Japan if you wanna be a manwhore, not really my thing but the complementary suntory whisky @ the capsule I stayed in def weakened me. Lots of Koreans & Taiwanese.
Kyoto- Only here briefly, but I remember there being lots of temples/alleyways to explore from my first visit.
Hiroshima- the memorial @ ground zero is very dignified, I didn't get much further than that.
Yakushima- This is like the garden of eden & was my highlight for sure, but you need to hire a car, or ideally a motorbike to get the most out of it.

Well.. Is there Japanese version of Tinder for hooking local women with foreign men?

Are you a wizard?

Yes, it's called tinder. Or you can just go to roppongi.

I've heard it said we have the best sushi outside Japan over here (atlantic Canada) based on the quality of fish available, not sure how true that is.

I'd like to go to japan but I hate flying. Plus I am a big black guy so they'd probably force me to perform in one of their censored pornos or something.

Sounds awful....

I went to a ZST show when I visited Tokyo a couple years ago

it was fucking nuts

If you don't like the food you're gonna have a bad time

haha, no. it's so much easier with the clearly color coded lines, you just have to remember the basic jist of the japanese names. in nyc, you have multiple lines the same color that go totally different places.

DID your wife leave you over the whole cheating friend deal?

How are you splitting off from her for s 6 month vacay?

A month is a short vacation?

Japan is amazing. Food and customer service is top notch. What surprised me the most was Disney Sea - blows Disneyland out of the water.

Go to Ghibli Museum.

Didn't think much of real fresh sushi at Tsuji Fish Market. It didn't have much flavor, I enjoyed conveyor sushi more. I sound poor.
