The Hard Right Is Hypocritical to the Core, And I Can Prove It in One Sentence

How about Reagan?
Guy blew up the debt
Colluded with Iran
Sold weapons to Iran
Sold weapons to terrorists
Raised taxes ... 11 times...

etc, etc, etc.

I love these threads.

You give them a chance to admit they’re hypocrites lacking any useful information on the topic, and they jump at it gleefully.

But jimmies are rustled, so it’s ok republicans in this country will forever have their reputation synonymous with not having principles.

One of those great threads that speaks for itself.

None of the usual suspects bothered to address the correlation between the party that campaigned on "we need to lower the national debt" and the party that's had control of Congress and Executive branch have done anything but pass legislation that skyrockets the debt.

Because the liberals have been great with tackling debt.

Wait until trumps time is up, then make the thread.

He will come up with something.

Probably tax on all money sent through IRS to central America, since that's where a majority of workers pay checks go

Just like he did with health insurance?

Just like he did with health insurance?

I dont think you know the resistance he got. You dont think if he could he would.

He got rid of the Obama fine for not having insurance, that was a must

Which democrats have campaigned on "national debt and deficit is too high, we cannot raise the debt ceiling!"

That asked under Obama to raise the debt ceiling.

They gave Obama a limit he gave away every thing and then they wanted to raise the debt ceiling more to spend more.

Scary that liberals bring up debt as a reasonable argument.

Trumps time is not up, you libs are jumping the gun

The Tea Party is just a bunch of poor to middle class white people who are being fucked by external factors (no jobs, growing wealth disparity, more financial insecurity, etc) and basically lashing out. They need something to blame.

But these things are also fucking everybody else. We're all eating ass out here and in the same boat.

The main problem is that our entire political process is bought and paid for. It's based on legalized bribery.

How long has the GOP controlled Congress? Their brilliant ways to cut debt and spending are silly shit like defunding Amtrak lol

8 years of campaigning on debt, but zero effort to change anything. Same with healthcare.

Sorry, but that was Socialist Big Government Barry's fault.

It must be weird calling everything you dont like Socialist.

When you stub your toe do you scream out 'Gawdayyum that Socialist curb!!'

At least they are vocal about it, not like libs, borrow borrow borrow, spend spend spend

I wonder how he feels about the US Military, "the purest application of socialism there is" - Gen. Wesley Clark (ret.)?

There is a deep truth here. For decades, the hardcore right in this country hasn’t been about specific policies or a particular spending level, but a feeling of grievance that is wrapped up in culture, economics, and demographics.

I don't know if I'd call it the "hardcore" right but there's definitely a subset of the right who use spending levels, economics and entitlement reforms as a proxy for culture or demographic grievances.
