What’s the best ECW PPV for a new viewer, my kid? Preferably with the Gangstas and Sandman. I’ll find a copy with all the real songs.
Heatwave 98 is generally considered their best PPV but no New Jack on that one.

Hardcore Heaven 2000 is pretty decent and has both New Jack and Sandman. Crappy main event though.

Observer regarding Punk incident last week: “This came while sides were working on a reconciliation that was at least in principle agreed to, per the decision of Khan who wanted him back. That would also seem to be behind the story that broke of an attempt to book the United Center for All Out this year, rather than the NOW Arena. Where things stand at this moment are unknown. There are tons of complicated issues involved and differences of opinions on the subject,”

They were close to a deal and he gets pissy on social media again. Obviously there's lots of money to be made if it works out, but dude can't go five minutes without having some paranoid meltdown.

A good show brings good ratings, the next week.

A bad /meh show brings bad ratings, the next week.

It's almost like the "true" rating is what the following weeks are.
lol And sometimes a mediocre show would cause a high rating the next week.
It doesn't make any sense, Bat.

Supercard predictions

1. Lucha Bros win the tag titles
2. The Embassy retains, yes I know Cage is leaving but the other trios is so random. Afterwards, Dalton and the Boys come out and challenge Embassy
3. Tanahashi beats Garcia
4. Vikingo retains
5. Athena retains
6. Briscoe beats Joe to become TV champion
7. Yuta retains. As much as I want Shibata to win.
8. Kingston wins the ROH title

So Wade Keller did another podcast on the Punk situation, and here's a transcript of it.

If you don't want to read all of it then here's the basic gist:

Only 2 or 3 AEW wrestlers really want Punk back.
He's lost the support of almost the entirety of the locker room.
There's a perception that Punk plays the victim all the time.
Even Punk's defenders admit he's a bit of a dick.
Tony Khan still wants him back but the feeling is that it'll completely upset the locker room and top stars if he does.
There's a viewpoint that AEW built on "oasis" of wrestling and that some people (Punk included) have walked in with big egos and chipped away at what they've built.
Some wrestlers like Jericho and The Elite even believe that these said wrestlers are ungrateful as they built them this place to come to in the first place.
Even non wrestlers in the company like coaches or producers don't like the idea of Punk returning.
There's a viewpoint that Punk may be good for ratings short term, but he'd do more harm in the long run, and it's possibly exaggerated how much of a draw he actually is.

The Young Fucks feed Meltzer shit which he then posts, in order to sabotage negotiations by setting Punk or Tony off. They politic better than Hogan ever did.

Meltzer doesn't even realise he's being used like Hersh by the FSB.
