How was that studied? Did they find outwardly homophobic guys and get them to secretly admit or secretly engage in homosexual sex acts?

If it had a substantial negative effect it would be killing of all these species, not persisting for generations.

There’s multiple species where a vast majority of their sexual behavior is same sex and they are thriving so no it has nothing to with small numbers or it being abnormal.


But even if you were right (you’re not) you’re describing how it would still not be an issue because it’s easily overcome. So even a wrong example is one that paints it as a nonissue

I was clarifying a point in a debate on what is natural and what is abnormal in a species and using nature as a reference point. It is a civil debate so far.

I have no problem with consenting adults do in their bedroom or who they love. This debate has nothing to do with that.

Can you link to these studies that the majority of their sexual behavior is same sex. I would be interested in reading that it has no negative effect on the species.

And yes if the numbers are small in the human population any negative effect as far as survival of the species is over come easily.
