ADEWALE AKINNUOYE-AGBAJE as MAN-APE
Adewale-Man-Ape-2-Dragonlord.jpg

The late Michael Clarke Duncan is my ideal choice to play Man-Ape but Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje is a terrific alternative. The Lost actor has the physique and intensity to play the supervillain. Man-Ape's mystically augmented powers include superhuman strength, speed, and the enhanced agility, stamina, and durability equal to that of the mystical Wakandan white gorilla.

I just assume a poster is joking when they suggest Michael Jai White for anything.

2nd Trailer for NOW YOU SEE ME Starring Eisenberg and Harrelson

Now-You-See-Me-0410-Dragonlord.jpg

Summit Entertainment has released a new trailer for Now You See Me. The story centers on a group of magicians who pull off bank heists during their death-defying acts, and the FBI squad tasked with catching them. It appears that Morgan Freeman is tasked with being the expository character as he spends most of this new trailer explaining things, but we do get a closer look at the technical side of the group’s magic tricks in this clip.

The premise is admittedly a bit outlandish, but director Louis Letterier (The Incredible Hulk) has put together a great cast and this trailer hammers home the promise that Now You See Me should be a lot of fun. The film stars Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Caine, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, and Melanie Laurent. Now You See Me opens May 31st.

Noah Emmerich Lands Final Major Role in JANE GOT A GUN

Noah-Emmerich-Super-8-Premiere-Dragonlord.jpg

Noah Emmerich, whose work as a conflicted FBI agent has been a highlight of the FX Cold War series The Americans, has been set to play the final major lead role in Jane Got A Gun, the Gavin O’Connor-directed Western that stars Natalie Portman, Bradley Cooper and Joel Edgerton. Emmerich will play the outlaw husband of the title character (Portman) who is trying to keep her farm from going under. Knowing that his gang–led by a desperado played by Cooper–will come to kill her husband and destroy her farm, Jane hires her ex-lover (Edgerton) to stop them.

After that rough start when director Lynne Ramsay dropped out of the film the night before it went into production, Jane Got A Gun is several weeks into production. This will be the fifth film that Emmerich has made with O’Connor, after Tumbleweeds, Miracle, Pride And Glory, and Warrior (latter of which starred Edgerton). Emmerich also worked with O’Connor on The Americans; O’Connor directed the pilot for that freshman drama series. Emmerich also starred with Portman in the Ted Demme-directed Beautiful Girls, which proved to a breakout for both actors. Of course, Emmerich played a married guy and Portman played a kid in that film, but hey, she’s grown up and there will be a different dynamic in Jane Got A Gun.

Only a couple month prep time for James Wan, I hope for his own sake his other projects are almost finished.

:icon_lol:

It would never happen but personality wise White would actually be a great Cage.

Cage is a thug for hire who turns into a sort of do-gooder.

I don't think Johnson can pull off the 'street' feel he needs.

First Set Photos from DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES

His performance as Caesar in Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes received critical acclaim, earning him nominations from associations which do not usually recognise performance capture as real acting. And by the looks of the latest images from the set for the sequel, Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes, Andy Serkis is set to give another sterling performance. The English actor was spotted on location in a forest in Vancouver, Canada wearing a motion caption suit, where he was joined by the latest edition to the cast - Keri Russell and Jason Clarke.

Keri meanwhile wasn’t dressed in the high-tech gear as its thought she is taking on the role of the film’s human lead. If the last film is anything to go by she is presumably one of the few surviving San Francisco residents after the collapse of human society.

2nd Trailer for THE HANGOVER PART III Starring Bradley Cooper

the-hangover-3-slice2.jpg

Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for The Hangover Part III. The first trailer almost made the movie look like an action flick, but now we’re getting a look at the comedy and the plot. In the series’ final installment, Stu (Ed Helms), Phil (Bradley Cooper), and Doug (Justin Bartha) are taking Alan (Zach Galifianakis) to a psychiatric hospital, but the gang is side-trekked when a mysterious man (John Goodman) kidnaps Doug and forces the wolf pack to track down Mr. Chow (Ken Jeong), who stole $21 million from Goodman’s character. There are some good laughs in here, so hopefully the trilogy will go out on a high note.

The film stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha, Ken Jeong, Heather Graham, John Goodman, Mike Epps, Mike Tyson, and Jeffrey Tambor. The Hangover Part III opens on May 24th.

Synopsis: “The Hangover Part III” is the third and final film in director Todd Phillips’ record-shattering comedy franchise. This time, there’s no wedding. No bachelor party. What could go wrong, right? But when the Wolfpack hits the road, all bets are off.

First Trailer for THE WAY, WAY BACK Starring Sam Rockwell, Steve Carell

the-way-way-back-slice.jpg

Fox Searchlight has released the first trailer for the coming of age comedy/drama The Way, Way Back. The film marks the directorial debut of The Descendants co-writers Nat Faxon and Jim Rash and centers on a 14-year-old boy (Liam James) who spends his summer vacation bonding with the manager of a water park (Sam Rockwell) while staying with his mother (Toni Collette) and her overbearing boyfriend (Steve Carell).

The Adventureland-esque pic looks to be a nice little summer film with a healthy mix of comedy and drama, and there’s a refreshing lack of cynicism in this trailer. Rockwell and Allison Janney are always swell, and the two are most definitely the comedic highlights here. The film also stars Maya Rudolph, Rob Corddry, Zoe Levin, AnnaSophia Robb, and Amanda Peet. The Way, Way Back opens on July 5th in limited release.
