Xenforo Cloud has scheduled an upgrade to XenForo version 2.2.16. This will take place on or shortly after the following date and time: Jul 05, 2024 at 05:00 PM (PT)
We may experience a temporary downtime. Thanks for the patience.
He may not have pulled out. He might have been such a train wreck when Dana and them met with him that they realized he won't be fit to fight in anything competitive and they want him at least trying to give himself a chance to win. A long awaited comeback to see a lazy Conor KO'd in a minute...
If he pulls out the UFC might still host their first "nose fight" event live from the Black Forge Inn. It would be exactly the farce slap fighting is except one contestant is a tall mountain of cocaine and the other is an ex-MMA fighter.
Not even. Getting the better of a few key aspects or exchanges in light/technical sparring does NOT mean he got the better of Jon even on that day. If it was hard sparring, he'd be on his ass, period.
There is no day where MJW would get the better of JJ in sparring. If Jon is respecting...
Ah, man.... I see why sherdoggers say he claims he's the best MMA fighter now. It's not exactly what he said, but what he said is ridiculous to say and only Jon's "professional respect" for a non-fighter would let him stay silent on this. If MJW was an actual fighter, I doubt Jon would take...
Did he really ever claim he could beat up every MMA fighter? It seems like such a delusional claim that only sherdoggers could make such a claim about what somebody else said.
Did MJW ever *really* say that??
Wow.... first titty..... talk about nostalgia! Good times.....
Titties - you may never be shocked like the first ever again. But may your familiarity with them trump the shock of your youth. May your best titty experience lie ahead of you and not behind!
He bet on himself and lost. Knew Alex was the headliner and wanted to steal some shine for his own future. He talked wild in a way that garnered attention. HAD HE WON, he'd be a household name now.
But he lost. He made a bet and lost on it bigtime. But betting on himself wasn't a bad...
This is the answer. It was early in the first where I realized Justin was about to have a long ass night. And I picked him to win. In fact, I embarrassingly said "I don't see how Max wins this" and "this may be the fight that makes Max's grandkids feed him in a high chair".
Boy, was I wrong...
I think he was saying a mill per card. Doable but he would have to have an entirely different orientation on life to want to spend $50m in that way annually.
I doubt, HIGHLY doubt they are less tough than an MMA world champion on average. But I also think they would each and every one of them get whipped by an MMA pro fighter (not even champion) in unarmed hand to hand combat.
But in TOUGHNESS? As in, how much physical damage and mental torture...
I think they know but they..... get tired. And go back to what's less tiring, lol. Not a great plan but it's more comfortable. Reminds me of a story that I see played out in different ways almost every day of my life:
Nasrudin is looking through his grass intently as a neighbour passes by...
This has long been the grappling weakness of BJJ guys in MMA and very few learn the wrestling to plug that hole. I imagine the reason is that it's real hard work.
When you think about how many ppl survive MMA training on a weekly basis, compared to those surviving SEAL training, it's pretty clear which has the higher breaking bar.
I believe you could train ANY navy seal to make it through a week of training with Sean, even if it took years to train them...
