I’d reply, but the front page article does a far better job of proving my point.
I’m not arguing in favor of O’Malley. I’m asking if it’s a robbery. I don’t believe it is.
As someone who scored it for Yan but felt it was super close I think everyone’s steadfast clinging to their belief here is interesting.
I’ve also rematched round 1. I don’t believe COUNTING the strikes is the best way to measure their relative impact. So, if I have O’Malley ahead by damage...
Actually, it we’re looking to real world analogies we’d look at something else that gets judged. So, the general idea of having JUDGES is that they’re more qualified than us. It is, in fact, upon you 90% to justify your argument. The judges, and the results, are with O’Malley and his camp.
He’s literally arguing that MMA fighters crossing over to other sports is missing the point of MMA, and he adds an addendum at the end that if it’s all about the money, he has options.
You are arguing that he is saying Francis should stay under Dana’s thumb in your first reply. He didn’t say...
You really aren’t good at staying on task.
I do not give a flying fuck about the rest of your conversation with him throughout the thread. I replied to your first reply, and what I said remains true.
Now, you guys have gone on for two days arguing about the stupid shit, but make no mistake...
You might get away with trying to take the intellectual high road with the people you keep calling kid, but I’d flip that script if I were you, because you are the one who is failing to track logic.
His argument was not “Francis should not make more money.”
His argument was, very clearly...
No, you actually replied to the least important aspect of his post.
His post is, primarily, about how the matchup misses the point of proving what the “Ultimate Martial Art” is. He does mention Francis and pay at the end, but you writing that reply misses the ACTUAL point he’s making.
Little...
The Sherdog front page article must be very triggering for most people on this side. If grappling has appropriate scoring Aljo gets a 10-8 second easy. He controlled Yan for nearly the entire round and hunted for a finish.
Aljo > Yan
I felt like it was a little excessive but maybe he’s Aussie or Brit. They don’t use it how Americans do. If he’s Canadian, it’s like, the nuclear option. Run away.
Nobody every provides any proof of these supposed severe side effects or deaths. It’s weird. I only ever hear of it through the grapevine…
Must be the second half of the conspiracy.
And I counter by pointing out that MMA, and subsequently Sherdog, pander specifically to young, mostly conservative, mostly men.
MMA demographics make me question myself as a person. Sherdog takes that question and makes it a reality. Sucks loving a sport that panders to the lowest common...
