after several hours to reflect I still stand by this, Fuck You Baylor!

That's a nice move for Greg Schiano.

Can't believe Stanford's D has completely transformed in just seven days.

They look great tonight. Looked like stool last week against Neuter Shame.

Can someone explain this Luck Fickell Co-DC thing to me? Obviously Ohio State has zero faith in the guy to run their defense...

So why don't they just demote him to LBer Coach or something?

yeah but Notre Dame has a pretty good offense no?

also I think Stanford would like to get into the playoffs so they're working their asses off

Just looked at Rutgers' D when Schiano was there. They had a top 25 scoring D in a handful of seasons. Pretty damn impressive for a team mostly composed of 2-star guys.

I like both Hawkeyes and Spartans, hard to root for just one

he is the LB coach, its just a nice title that they give him. Fickell signals in the plays while ash called them (as DC) from the booth. fickell is a OSU legend, great LB coach (look at how darron lee developed) and a great recruiter (huge for urb).

Great coach but overly intense and not sure I want to see 3 passes a game from BYU.

'overly intense'? pretty sure youre not talking about Ken Niumatalolo. i can get you direct stories about him from Navy football players.

Was really hoping for a defensive war of attrition for this Iowa/Mich St game, and boy are they delivering the goods. That last interception was bananas. The Clemson/NC game is damn good too, but I just cannot take my attention away from Iowa/Mich St

Quarterbacks - Aircraft Carrier - "The QB of the Naval fleet, the aircraft carrier is the ultimate decision maker; the 'quick strike' weapon of the Naval fleet."

Linebackers - Cruiser - "Provides anti-air defense and packs the biggest punch of Naval surface ships, representative of the linebackers on the Navy football team."

Running backs - Littoral Combat Ship - "Like running backs, these fast and nimble ships can navigate through both crowded shallow and deep waters."

Defensive backs - Destroyer - "Known for significant fire power, speed, and anti-missile defense, as are Navy's defensive backs."

Wide receivers - Submarine - "Predominantly utilized as blockers, wide receivers play a key role in driving the Navy rush attack, taking on a stealth-like persona as they blend into the rhythm of the offense but bring significant fire power when called upon, just like a Naval submarine."

Linemen - Amphibious Assault Ships - "Just as a lineman's job is to create a hole for a running back or linebacker, these ships are used to establish the 'beach head' that enables the invading force to gain access and ultimately accomplish their objective."

Kicker/special teams - Minesweeper - "Much like the specific task of the Navy special teams, this small ship has a unique mission of identifying and eliminating mines."

ioway/mstate is way better

Can't believe Clemson's pooter went Full Retard like that.

Awesome play by Bullough then the pick in the end zone.

Man, Iowa's D looks incredible.

Interesting. I remember Fickell sucking tush as the HC that one year but that's a whole 'nother story.

So Clemson's punter decided on his own to try and pick up 17 yards?

'overly intense'? pretty sure youre not talking about Ken Niumatalolo. i can get you direct stories about him from Navy football players.

I saw a small portion of a Navy game once and he kept yelling at one of the players for the dumbest reason.

No USMC helmets though. :(

How come Pruitt can't get a head coaching gig?

Not quite sure, I'd guess that will be his next move. He is in his early 30's I believe, despite coaching at some big time programs, he hasn't been coaching very long.
