4 out of the last 5 UFC PPVs (UFC 212, 213, 215, 216) have failed to sell more than 167K PPVs

217 Will Do great.

Don't think a card with gsp ever did less than 600k

Not what WME was expecting. Conor - Nate 3-10 coming soon. ;)

Romero vs. Whittaker
Nunez vs. Shev
Tony vs Lee

All shitty headliners. 212 had a good main but rest of the card suckrd, plus Aldo isn't a needle mover.

Look at the cards and that might explain your assertion.

214, however, which was an awesome card, did 850k.

Argument = more dead than Aldo versus McGregor.

You mean the non shitty cards, 211 and 214 did better? Shocking.

And any fan who doesn't get a direct pay cut should give a fuck why?...

We honestly have no idea how bad that is for business though. Still have FS1 and Fight Pass. Still have tons of International TV deals. Advertisement's.

We will never know but would be interesting to see if this is still profitable or not for them on those nights.

Over. Satu. Ration.

I used to look forward to the UFC. Now it's 'is anybody I REALLY want to see fighting Saturday?'

I get it. The Fertitta's HAD to take that payday. They were offered over a THOUSAND times what they paid for the UFC. But WME, so far, has NOT shown they understand where the value lies in what they purchased. The NFL doesn't even allow the APPEARANCE that Canadian football is somehow on the same level. And speaking of Canadian, how did all the really good Canadian fighters wind up in Bellator?

The Bell Center was an unlocked bank vault for the UFC. Now you're finally down to giving GSP what he wanted to get back into that market. WME was supposed to know the entertainment industry in a way that a washed up boxing promoter and a couple of casino owners didn't. So far, I ain't seein' it.

The same bums complaining about PPV numbers are the same bums who hate on Conor

I think we need too have a serious look as sherdoggers to actually see if these goons really have a clue. Hollywood was also behind female ghostbusters, do not forget this.

Watered down cards full of nobodies plucked off of reality shows. Letting go or not signing top talent such as Mousasi, Bader, Davis, MacDonald, etc.

People will say "Mousasi wasn't a draw" or "Bader wasn't a draw" but having the best fighters in the world was part of the draw. Now you're seeing girls like Pearl Gonzalez somehow show up on a PPV card. The hardcores are your base for most PPVs and they don't want to see cards full of second rate fighters just because they're cheaper to pay. Casuals don't buy a PPV every month, they'll just buy the big fights so the regular cards begin to suffer.

Hardcore fans lost interest in the circus that the UFC have turned into. The casual fans helped the Conor fights, but the UFC lost a lot its hardcore fanbase, judging by the opinions on mma forums.
