I still think Aquaman is the most fun I've had in a movie since Thor Ragnarok. It's a too 5 fun film's for me.
Not a great movie, per se, but clean and tight enough to let things slide to just thoroughly enjoy.
I'm excited to own it on Blu-ray

It was a fun movie. I didn't plan on watching it because of that long retarded trailer, but I was really surprised. The underwater stuff was well done. That stuff must have been hard to pull off. A lot of creativity and imagination went into this movie. Certain parts were kind of corny though, but this was a kids oriented film.

I really liked the visuals.
the part where he goes into the trench was absolutely beautiful

MCU wins majority of comicbook fanbase, casuals and general population across the world. 10 years + of ongoing on films prove this. They also have 5 movies listed in top 10 box office all time. A DCEU lover like me can wish it will be ever as good as MCU but the fact of matter is it isn't, and because it isn't I will be in denial and cope. DCEU is the greatest and despite shiity plots, shitty build up, shiity direction and shitty everything, they will be the greatest in my opinion. Even though my opinion doesn't have any positive impact and contribution in comic book movies.

Just got in. A solid 8.5/10. Could have done without the flashback sequences outside of his parents meeting. Some of the acting was a little hammy. Other than that, a very solid movie only slightly less cohesive than Wonder Woman’s story.

Would you watch a porn aquaman parody?

Infinity War was better than Venom but I honestly think Venom is the superior film over Antman. At least it is the one I could watch again.

There are about 5 or 6 good marvel moves. Iron Man 1, Captain America Winter Solider, Civil War, GotG 1, Infinity war and maybe I'd add Thor Ragnarok.

The rest are mediocre to average.

DC has Aquaman, Man of Steel and Wonder Woman which are all good and conidering DC has 1/3 or less of the number of films MCU has that is not bad at all

Infinity War has set the standard for comic book movies. The only DC movie on the same level is Dark Knight. IW shits all over MoS and Wonder Woman. I can't comment on Aquaman as I haven't seen it yet. It wouldn't surprise me if Venom was better than Ant Man and the Wasp, which was basically just a stocking-filler movie.

DC has the most iconic superheroes in history, but cannot stand and bang with Marvel because they are too undisciplined and greedy. Instead of patiently laying the groundwork for a Shared Universe, they rushed ahead with BvS and somehow managed to fuck up the first movie to show Batman and Superman on screen together. As a bonus, they butchered the classic Death of Superman arc and made Doomsday look like the retarded, bastard child of an Ork and a Mutant Ninja Turtle:rolleyes:

I saw it tonight. This was not a perfect film. It had some editing problems (like Batman vs. Superman but not as bad). It also had pacing issues at times, as there were a lot of things going on in sequence. I also noticed that they tried using Marvel-esque comedy frequently, which sometimes fell flat and other times worked out. On a positive note, I agree with people who say that Dolph Lundgren did unexpectedly well in this film.

All that said, I enjoyed the story and action sequences despite the film's flaws. 7.5/10 - "B"

My current DC EU film ranking:

5. Batman vs. Superman
.
.
.
.
4. Wonderman
3. Aquaman
2. Justice League
1. Man of Steel

if the RottenTomatoes score stay above 60%, i think it can pass Wonder Women box office.

Can’t get enough of these themes. Black Manta and Arthur(the one that sounds like Tron at 2:15).

2:15

Well, that exceeded my expectations.

I usually don’t lik 3D movies but this was a good movie to see in 3D.

Surprised how much love this is getting. Visuals were great though for sure. Dialogue is what made it cringey for me.

It was better than Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman ripped off too many elements of Captain America: The First Avenger.

Yeah. I think it was in the delivery at times, and I think that goes back to editing/directing. They also try to inject Marvel-style humor into it. Sometimes it worked but many times the jokes bombed.

Sad thing they could've done this before Marvel started theirs.

It was alright. The bad is it is too long, has some cheesy dialogue and too much exposition in a simplistic plot. Overall though, the good outweighs the bad by a hefty margin. Some parts were really awesome and clever.

It plays like an old fashioned fantasy adventure from the 80s.

7.5/10. Might even go see it again.

8/10

I enjoyed this a lot . I had faith in James Wan and I think he is perfect for comic book movies.

Zack Snyder thinks the DCEU should be dark and douchey , at the cost butchering the characters. I liked this take on Aquaman

Let me get the things I didn't like out first. Some of the Dialogue was pretry bad , tried to hard to Make Momoa looked cool with some one liners when really he doesn't need to, dude oozes charisma with his body language alone. Some of the actions scenes felt a bit dragged on, they were good but there was a bit of fluff especially in the final battle.

I really liked that the Veteran Actors gave solid efforts , I thought Patrick Wilson a good main villain with the Black Manta looming as someone more promising.

Good experience . I think the DCEU needs a to lean on Aquaman and Wonder Woman and have Flashpoint recast and reset the other characters.

I couldnt relate to anything or anyone in this movie. I dropped all my bias and came in with no expectations because of the amazing reviews. Well I tried, but it was entirely too over dramatic like a British soap. Especially the whole sibling rivalry which was forced so hard down our throats with such weak motive. Not a single strong character in the movie, and when conflict happened, the stakes never seemed high. Looked great though. And for Wan, it isnt his worst. I just left the theater as soon as the credits begun, not caring about the inevitable post credit scene.
