Teach creationism in history , religion or humanities class, but not as Science. There are many creationist stores, why should the school only teach the Abrahamic one. Why don't they include Native American creationist stories too.
Flat Earthers are a relatively recent phenomena, whereas creationists have existed in large numbers for quite some time now.How is it good? Why does a creationist need to help design the method in which evolution is taught?
It makes no fucking sense. Should flat earthers be included in teaching planetary history/geology?
I think its about time Christians get some representation in our schools science curriculum.
So what?Flat Earthers are a relatively recent phenomena, whereas creationists have existed in large numbers for quite some time now.
What exactly are you so scared of?I still don't see how it's a good thing. The panel should be teachers and scientists who understand the material. Not people looking to undermine it because, "Muh Religion!". It's completely asinine.
The religious community's feelings shouldn't be playing any part in designing academic course work. No matter how small.
So, it’s confirmed. Your brain does not possess the ability to competently process and/or comprehend the responses provided to you by other forum members. So what?
They put him on a panel to help decide how evolution is taught.
That is a good thing. It does not mean he gets to choose what is in the curriculum, it just means that he is there to have input into how evolution can be taught in a way that is not insensitive or insulting to creationists.
If he attempts to change the curriculum to learn towards something unscientific, then it is a problem.
They are things you can go and verify yourself. That's the beauty of science. You can duplicate their findings.Quick question: What constitutes a fact and who determines it? An expert? If so, what determines an expert? A group of people agreeing that what a person believes falls in line with what they believe?
It's not a theory. Science theory doesn't work that way. It's not like some guy saying he has a theory. In order for creationism to be valid you have to alter the observations made throughout history. You have to claim that isotopes didn't always have the decay rate that we observe today. That the ice cores taken in Antarctica were the result of a million summers and winters occurring in a single year.Correct. This guy never once suggested teaching creationism as fact. He suggested telling kids all the theories to make up their own minds. I don't believe in creationism, but nobody suggested teaching it as fact.
Splendid! This means we should put a Satanist and a Bisexual reptilian on the board too.Why not? I doubt he's the only person on the board. All opinions should be represented.

There's plenty of evidence, studies, research, and experiments showing historical events to match the Bibles version of history such as the age of humanity and the great flood. Theres evidence showing and supporting the spiritual, non materialist nature of life. Theres significant evidence supporting the Bibles description of the universe, the stars, the 'planets', the moon, ect.
The reason you are not aware of these things is because...well...you were never taught it.
