I know live albums are cheating, but this one really deserves the recognition

Beach Boys - Pet Sounds and Michael Jackson - Thriller are about as perfect as you can get as complete albums.

For me I'll stick to my hardcore and slightly punk roots...

Tear It Up-Nothing To Nothing
Bane-Give Blood
Modern Life Is War-Witness
Shai Hulud-Hearts Once Nourished
Ruiner-Prepare To Be Let Down
Hatebreed-Satisfaction Is The Death Of Desire
Zombie Apocalypse-This Is A Spark Of Life
Blacklisted-When People Grow People Go

For non hardcore...

Pink-Funhouse
No i am not lying about that.

Ah and SQRM-Rodeo

Have not really listened to metal music for about 10 years, still listen to this shit often, as I have since like 2002, as a HS sophomore.

GRINDERMAN-21-768x768.jpg
I saw Nick Cave live back in 2007 at Madison Square Garden with Grinderman supporting their debut album. Band was opening for The White Stripes. I ended up taking some acid before the gig and when they played Honey Bee (Lets Fly To Mars) it felt like a religious experience. Sucks the band broke up. I loved both of the albums they produced

This right here is my all time favorite ambient album and every so often I'll put it on right before I go to bed. Richard D. James is a genius and I love everything the man has produced.

I know it's kind of cliche at this point but.. Pink Floyd's 'Darkside of The Moon' is such a perfect album.

Especially if you're a stoner (which I'm not anymore) -but still.
