He says he doesn't remember the President saying "executing". He said Trump would sometimes vent by saying similar to that, but he wasn't concerned, because he didn't take it seriously, and he didn't think there was any threat Trump sincerely desired anyone to do things like that. He voiced that belief unwaveringly.
The part where he discusses Biden comes much later, and isn't discussed in the context of that specific quote, but within the context of the larger Jan.6 indictment of Trump, and the allegation that Trump sought to criminally overturn the result of the election. Barr never acknowledges that as a valid conviction. Rather, Barr argues that the threat to Democracy among the western Anglosphere of democracies has always come the progressivist, collectivist, socialist left. He cites the policies of this group that strip parents of their control over their children's education. He cites how people can't speak their minds openly without losing their jobs opining it's worse than the McCarthyist era. He cites the lack of control over our borders. He cites lawlessness in our cities. Yes, he cites government intrusion dictating consumer choice in the free market such as with cars or washing machines. Finally, he cites that major changes are being made to the country by bureaucrats outside the democratic process. He describes what he fears is a greater threat to Democracy as the potential worst case "excesses of the left."
So to present his argument that washing machines are a greater threat to Democracy than Trump's rhetoric and actions leading to January 6th is an incredibly disingenuous summary that one would expect from some partisan YouTube nobody.
