For some time now, I've believed that the 12 years from 89 until 01 9/11 were the Golden Age of Humanity: lots of great cultural events, the world seemed to be getting better, terrorism, immigration and global warming weren't huge deals. Social mores were still strong nd society was fairly cohesive. We were all shocked by Christina Aguilera in chaps and panties.

I'd love to live those 12 years again, what would you miss from now? I could do without social media, but I guess gaming has gotten better and porn is free and abundant, lol. If I could have my consciousness from now, I'd appreciate all the fun stuff coming out then without being all indie and uptight like I was back then, *sigh*.

I saw them in 1994 at Lollapaloza. The energy was incredible. Green Day, Tribe Called Quest, L7, Breeders, Beastie Boys, Then Pumpkins. The stadium was rumbling, craziest pit I have ever been in.
