Dana White expects an economic depression- tells journalists that they’ll likely get fired

The government is pretty much intentionally trying to collapse the economy, I'd be surprised if we don't have a depression.
 
Dana is just in a bad mood lately. Covid killing UFC bottom line with no live gate, delayed events, etc. WME probably putting pressure on him after company was already not earning enough considering purchase price before Covid. Now Jones, Conor, and Mas are threatening to quit. Other fighters like O'Malley starting to bark about wanting more pay. Dana seems like he himself maybe halfway contemplating getting out the way things are going.

1 - If the federal government had started to shut down travel and begin social distancing campaigns, and encouraged States to follow suit , just two weeks earlier, it would have prevented (roughly) half of the deaths.

8 - I can't keep listing these egregious fuck ups, or I will drive my skull through a brick wall.

Bonus - Just this past week Trump toured a facility that produces swabs used for gathering samples from potential carriers. He refused to wear a mask or gloves. And touched everything. The facility had to destroy the entire days' production of swabs.
 
He's right.

The stock market is propped up now by the super low interest rates in bonds which means there's no other place to put money, and FOMO=Fear Of Missing Out. Repugs are propping up the market with corporate welfare that's being used by corporations to buy their own stock thus inflating the stock value, and there's almost guaranteed more of that to come.

But in any case the stock market is not the economy. Unemployment is terribad (you heard about the 3% goof with the recent jobs report right?). The unemployment benefit extension runs out at end of July. Repugs are signaling they won't pass any state relief because they want to bankrupt the states to force them to cut social and government programs.

In this case we're talking about an economy so bad some lenders may even go down ALA 2007.

Buy gold and keister it IMO.

They both mix news and opinion in a way that makes it hard for some people to tell the difference but FOX primetime opinion shows have no problem flat out lying to their audience about facts where MSNBC, CNN don't lie directly, they just leave stuff out that they don't like.

I'm a youth support worker. This job will always be around and desperate for more people if you are patient and caring. We lose people weekly simply cos they have no patience and understanding.

Some days can be easy as hell and don't even feel like workdays. Such as today I just went shopping with an autistic kid and now chilling surfing the net while he creates "computer labs" out of cardboard boxes. Other days can be pretty wild like kids setting the house on fire or "trying" to fight me.

Either way I know I'm secure for as long as I need to be and often the pay can be pretty good. I'm on $38/hr AUD and Sundays and public holidays are double that. Pretty easy money really. I want to started investing though cos while I'm chill now the older I get I could turn into a cranky old cunt, "bloody kids these days!".

Honestly in a way when Ariel got picked up by ESPN it was the beginning of the end. Covid just accelerated the process for any one out of the mainstream
