From what i understand, the US sends U Cal Berkeley a ridiculous amount of funding. Something like 300 million over 2 years. Can you imagine if Trump just shut off that revenue completely?

He cant cut is himself. But congress is controlled by reps and he says do it. They will do it. Anyone who defies him will be destroyed on twitter. Trump can end any of them ob twitter
 
How is this any different than Title 9 cutting federal funding for "discrimination against women"?

There's a precedent for this.

Free speech is a constitutionally protected right and federal funds shouldn't be going to public institutions that don't protect it.

The STEM programs should separate themselves from the radical liberal arts programs and form their own university. As it is, their name is being rightfully tarnished and thrown into the trash bin via association with fascists.
 
Freedom of speech is not what was practiced at Berkley. They were violent, and were trying to silence others' opinions.

Police aren't going to do their jobs until they're given incentives to do them. Right now, they're being ordered to stand down by public institutions receiving federal funding that support the actions of these fascists.
