Sacrifice what it takes to thrive,
so the fields grow dry, but remain intact.
Then succeed with such speed in the self destruction,
looking for a new way back.
It's the need when you bleed, just a glutton for punishment
and then it'll all collapse.
Watch it burn from inside, and this time
it'll seep through all the gaps.
Irrelevance,
contagions of masochists,
watch it burn through
the eyes of this decadence.
In the mind supplied with divine,
as the lines entwine closer
every time i think you're mine.
Infallibly, so undoubtedly
confined within these morals
that proudly surround me.
Never let it go, its just the overdose talking,
conceptually haunting, here at your side.
So when the rain comes down...
Sink into the shade...
When the light comes around...
Don't let it blind you from the pain.
So consequential, the task before us is essential
We can fix it if we all didn't suck.
The fourth dimension, it keeps us waiting and anticipating
but until then we are all out of luck.
Baptized within lies, we'll find another struggle,
for all of the trouble, we put forth in love.
Watch it burn from outside, and this time
It fits just like a glove.
So when the rain comes down...
Sink into the shade...
When the light comes around...
Don't let it blind you from the pain.
New song, wrote yesterday and recorded today, this was a crazy hassle to finish, some complicated parts I've never tried before, was going for some Anime intro theme type of thing
Looks like some good stuff in this thread, will have to come back and look through it all, later.
I on and off tried learning guitar for a fair few years, got a bit more into it in about 2012 ish and, have been semi-consistent, since.
As of this year, been doing some bass playing and piano, too. Been singing on and off for a few years, too. Some people may remember me for clogging up the Mayberry karaoke thread on here, a couple years back.
I mostly do covers, done a couple originals, which are, to put it mildly, woeful, haha.
I would say this is one of the less objectionable ones:
The links to my uploads, if anyone wants to ruin their ears, further.
I think I spotted a couple of people who play bass/drum in the thread. There are a few multi instrumentalists. I play a little bass, to be fair, but, I am not so delusional as to include myself in this, as you all put me to shame, lol.

I play guitar, drums, bass, piano, and banjo Alittle violin and harmonica, but not so well. Unfortunately at the moment I have no room for a drum kit, and I haven't had a bass in a few years. I just have two Ibanez acoustics and a keyboard right now.
My dad is the real drummer in the family, he lived with MC5 and Iggy Pop/the Stooges in the late 60's when he was the drummer for a proto-punk band called The Up. Not sure if you heard this one posted earlier, it's me on guitar and my dad on drums (he's 65 )
