I'm not holding my breath for something truly earth shattering in the cohen tapes, a lot of this stuff really just seems to be light glancing impact aimed at chipping away at Trump's fragile conservative coalition.

There could still be plenty of fun stuff in there, but between Cohen and Trump I'm not convinced there's enough mental horsepower to do much more than pay people off and scam as much money as possible out of people seeking proximity to power.

The question is if there is a tape of Trump talking to Cohen about a crime. There was enough evidence for the FBI to raid the office, home, and hotel room of the personal attorney of the POTUS. There is no question that Cohen is going down, most likely for bank fraud for setting up a shell company and getting loans on false pretenses to pay off the owners of the pussies Trump grabbed, but there could be more that Mueller came across and referred to the US Attorney in the SDNY, and there could be more in the material the FBI got in the raids. Who knows who leaked today's news and why, could be someone shaking the tree at the DOJ, could be Rudy G. trying to get the focus off of Russia, but my guess is that it is Cohen sending out a smoke signal to Trump that shit is about to get real unless Trump calls in the cavalry to save his ass.
