Bittersweet.

Indeed. Tony Scott & Robin Williams' endings both struck the same sad chord.

Both did what they did after receiving horribly bleak health diagnoses. Robin had a particularly nasty form of dementia, and Tony just learned he had an inoperable brain tumor.

"I have...crossed oceans of time to find you..." A one sentence poem.

Made me swoon back in the day!

A big part of Oldman's allure and charisma is his delivery, doesn't matter what he says - high prose, gibberish made-up vampire language, sporting a silver cane and a purple top hat not a problem - he makes it all utterly believable and compelling.

So many great performances, but True Romance and State of Grace are sentimental favorites. His performance in Hannibal was also amazing. I didn't know it was him until long after I originally viewed the film.

I have no idea how anyone can choose. Im leaning towards True Romance because its my favourite film on the list -- but i think his Portrayal of Mason was just incredibly delivered. Even with his face mangled with prosthetics, that look and soft moan he gives when Barney shows him the mask -- incredible

Soldier, tailor, tinker, spy.
Great movie, not for slow brains.
