Is anyone watching this show? I watched the first 2 seasons and then it died for a few years. Now it's back and I'm just as addicted as ever.



I'm not going to bother explaining it all. If not enough people jump on board I'm going to delete this thread w/ the quickness and enjoy it all my myself. It's already 3 episodes in.
 
The whole point is just to prank the oner guy right? But what does he get when he "wins"?
 
Love this show. The original season was some of the best television I've ever seen to this day.

I think that the "schmo" from the original season was so awesome. They couldn't have found a better guy.

This season has been pretty damn good so far. Loving the "gay" black guy that flies the kite....I think the hosts character was a little better in Season 1, but the bounty hunter angle is also pretty funny.

Lamas stole the show in the first couple of episodes.

I hope they keep it up. I don't know why it took so long for them to decide to dig up the concept again. The Joe this season isn't as innocent as he needs to be.
 
i liked the original season, but that was because that dude was a total goofball.
 
I saw one of the episodes and like how they have the Bear Fucker guy as the household asshole (I would've recognized him immediately). Lorenzo Lamas was comedy gold in this. Also, the "Joe" looks just like Joe Calzaghe.

 
This show is awesome.

I love how gung ho the Schmo is about bounty hunting. The deaf chick is going to fuck it all up.
 
i will watch the shit out of this. i always thought the premise was funny as hell, even tho i didnt watch the first couple seasons. what night is it on?
 
It's too bloody over the top obvious. Even the gimmickiest, trashiest "reality" show isn't as bad as the actors in this show are portraying.

First season was fun, second season was too obvious and the female mark figured it out. This one is even worse in the acting/script.

That's kind of the point. Look how ridicuolous and stupid it is and that dumbass is still playing along because we are all such fame whores and will do anything to be on tv.

Sure. But if the mark is that fucking dumb it stops being funny and starts being more like making fun of a mentally challenged person.

So he's not that fucking dumb and you're all the marks for believing it - that you want to seem smarter than the dummy being played on the show. Or he is that fucking dumb and you realize that this mark asshole has a friggin vote in any and all elections and it's not so funny anymore.
 
hahaha yeah I see your point. I watched one episode and thought it was entertaining, but it's still just reality tv which I hate.
 
I really liked the first season and saw last night's episode as my first of this new season. It was good stuff. I didn't know it was the Joe Schmo Show when I tuned in and I just caught the elimination ceremony where the gay guy gave the speech. I was suspicious then...and then the womanizer makes his speech about how he'd be honoured--if the gay guy ever "turned back"--to spit roast a girl with him sometime. I was so embarrassed for the dude saying that until I realized that was all a joke.

This show is awesome. I love it. Lots of gems in it. "My Beaver peed"!

If he makes it all the way without figuring it out, I think he gets the 100grand.
