Not a Fan of Anthony Joshua's Smiling at Klitschko Like a Goof Immediately After the Stoppage...

One thing about that stoppage, there's an angle where you can clearly see Wlad notice the ref coming in and he tries hard to fight back before the gets there. I never expected to see heart like that from Wlad.

I guess we saw some of it when he fought Sam Peter. Its just been so long that anyone has been able to make him fight like that.

Exactly. It's not a big deal, maybe I'm a little petty myself. I just didn't like him doing that. Not my style. Good fighter though, definitely somebody who really hit it big now.

Hit it big now? Haha
He just sold out a 90,000 arena, took a £15m purse, broke British ppv records (1.15million buys) in a country 5 times smaller than the US and doesn't traditionally do well selling ppvs

Oh, you mean in America

I can see it now. If we asked Wlad, he would have said:
"It wasn't the numerous punches that hurt me, it was Joshua's arrogant smile."
I would rate that smile the same as a low blow or rabbit punch. The ref should of took 2 points at the least. OR better yet a DQ. A smile, what a monster. This is a family sport not a porn. Clean up your act AJ.

Actually watched Klitschko Peter 1 and Holyfield Tyson 1 Saturday. Turned out to be good appetizers for the an awesome main course!

To the smile Anthony said Wladimir called him little bro from day one in an interview I was reading and I think the smile was a little bro smile back at Wladimir! But I believe they both tremendously respect each other after a fight like that!

Don't recall him "smiling" directly at Klitchko in any sort of malicious way after the fight, but by fighting standards even that's incredibly tame.

Joshua is a classy guy he means well, about the stoppage Compubox has Joshua throwing 49 punches in round 11. Wladimir was defending some of the punches and straight away says something once the referee stops the fight. There was the possibility that Joshua could have gassed again, it was a fair stoppage but maybe Wladimir could have been given another 5 seconds. But it was a great fight still.

It didn't actually happen.

Just watched some more clips of the stoppage with Showtime commentary and he isn't looking at Wlad, he's looking right past him into the crowd as Wlads head slumps to his left. You see him change his eyeline and glance at Wlad after he smiles to the crowd.

Either way, get a fucking life.

My God stop being such a punk. Funny you should differentiate this "generation" in your post, I was actually watching some old Joe Louis VHS tapes the other day. He KOed people. And afterwards he didn't smile. He walked away respectfully.
He was trained to do that since he was the first black champ since Johnson. They wanted to distance themselves from all the controversy that surrounded him.

The best part about this is I can't rember recently when I've seen such a nice, humble, pc & media savy, humble, young man. Even when his opponents trash talk him he laughs it off and says respectful things back. He went out of his to give Wlad praise to the point where it was annoying. Whether its an act or not, how the fuck do you know? You don't know the guy. Even if it is fake it's still him acting the right way and being aware of his behavior and responsibility.
Just come out and say the real reason why you don't like him. Mods may give you a free pass on this one. Lmao
This just proves you can never fully please some clown fans . So you might as well just do you and be yourself.

Exactly. He had to pander to white America in order to get their approval and be mainstream. Just like Jackie Robinson. They also didn't want to be targeted or railroaded into going to jail They had to be non threatening and vanilla. This is well documented and calculated.
Ali also took him to task for this.
It's 2017 nobody has to act like the Brown Bomber.

He's definitely redeemed himself from the Purrity and Brewster fights early in his career that he seemed to fold over for.

You must of missed the thread where people were claiming that boxers don't like to hurt people and most boxers cry in shame after they knockout their opponent. If not they have mental issues and are psychotic sociopaths...LMAO and there were several posters who felt that way. They felt the only acceptable action after a huge knockout is to get on your knees and pray over the concussed fighter body. Pretend like that wasn't your goal to KO him...So I'm not surprised in the least bit. Makes 0 sense to me.

Wow! Fucking fight fans today!

I know you think this was some kind of massive burn but it's not. Being classy and being real are not mutually exclusive.

It seems like you've made your mind up about some guys including AJ. Acts respectful? Too manufactured. Goes off script? Too disrespectful.
