Nu'Keese vs. A Lawyer

I put my ipod on my forearm and run the cord up the sleeve of my shirt. I made the mistake of leaving it loose, and learned that the lever can and will cut the wire to the headphones

What did Asshole in the Squat Rack say to you? I couldn't tell.

Tough to see the guy in this one. He sets up a 12 inch jump box on the seat of a machine shoulder press, gets onto it and does shrugs with the levers.

I actually almost had that happen, but I noticed the cord was in a bad spot before I clamped it down. Some of those edges are pretty scary. Some of my rash guards are tight enough around the arm where I can just slide it in and snake it through my shirt. That day I had a long sleeve on and was having issues.

I don't think he said anything at that point, nothing I could hear any way. But a friend of mine who has been lifting with me at this gym since April has mentioned that he has told me to watch foul language a couple of times. I normally keep conversations quiet and watch my mouth but...

I couldn't believe this was happening, his eyes were shut the entire time...

He also chose to do multiple sets of this, did not record the others...

Push Jerk: Didn't feel like lifting today, but went anyway and it paid off. Hit 310 (big goal as it is 140+ kilos which equals 3 blues) and 315, belted with wrist wraps and knee sleeves. The 310 is cooler because I missed it then went again and got it.

This one, in my opinion, is the best one of the night. I had no idea that this was going on, let alone know my buddy was recording it:

LOL! what kind of gym is that?
Dont you get any instruction when joining the gym? I know, most gym instructors suck, but something has to be done!

Also, good work, and congrats on the new PR's, again.

The trainers and staff are for the most part no better than the people in the videos. I saw a woman attatch a sled to an out of shape guy who appeared to be in his 50's and have him walk around the basketball gym with one plate loaded. One "trainer" had a woman do a Pee-Wee Herman dance in a wall sit position. The staff has no grasp of progression in just about every instance I have seen. I hope to get some of their garbage on film too.

Some A-1, Thick Sauce workouts were going on, I did not get any on video. I attempted to get a guy on the chest press machine, but he was watching me like a hawk and I didn't want him to know he was being recorded. He was wearing a Twilight t-shirt...

Squat: Off of about 4.5 hours of sleep I hit 500 for the first time ever, unfortunately there were technical difficulties and it was unable to be recorded. No big deal, will get 505 next week. Recorded work sets, felt pretty good with those.

Unfortunately I did not get the whole dance routine on film. He was doing the strange rotation/curl/stare thing for just about a minute, I thought I pressed record but failded to.

2nd PR clean attempt by my buddy, almost got it. We were cleaning here for a good amount of time, obviously he was trying to get a weight he needed to concentrate on...

The guy hopping literally stalks my buddy at the gym. He will come all the way across the gym to rack and pick up plats from the rack or cage we are working at, when there are the same exact plates at the rack he is "working at". He gets in our way all of the time and is obnoxious and has no gym etiquette. They played in a baseball league together years ago and I guess the guy needs a friend...
