I must have seen 20+ MMA stories today from my Spanish people today, literally nothing before...

Apparently it was free to watch on EuroSport there, and it was carnival weekend, so everyone got coked up all day, then went home to watch it in their carnival costumes... Honestly sad to have missed it.

Been trying for years to get then into it too...

Basically because NFL is a closed market with one big league whereas if you want to buy a soccer team you have plenty to choose from across multiple leagues.

Also soccer teams aren't that profitable because although the turnover is massive the outgoings are insane in terms of transfer fees and wages.

This is like the Spanish equivalent of the New York Yankees claiming Ilia as a “New Yorker” while he’s actually living and training in Pittsburgh.
