just found out he beat my fellow countryman Julio Lobo for this title. Lobo got kind of outclassed but it's interesting for me to see him fight at this level. he's fought Pakorn too.

I wouldn't say he got outclassed. A lot of people thought Julio won. And i don't get what you mean by "this level". Julio Lobo has faced better opposition than Manachai in the past.

I thought Julio was just pressuring like crazy not landing anything effective and Manachai was landing potshots all over the place. by "this level" I mean generally fighting against big names in relatively big stages (WMC, Thai Fight, Glory). He obviously didn't face high level opposition in Glory and WMC/Thai Fight are nothing compared to Lumpinee/Raja/Channel 7 but I'm compating him to other brazilians that only get random fights around Asia.
