Thanks doc! I'm working with a 320 training max right now. Will be bumping it up if I can hit my numbers in 2 weeks

I've been feeling really good now that I'm back on a consistent program. I got carried away for a while trying to figure shit out. I was complicating things. Madcow is something I can do forever, I think.

My only challenge is time. Sometimes I just can't get everything prescribed in.
 
Nice. Time is always a factor, I wish I could devote 90 minutes to lifting but that would make for a 2 hour round trip and work is flexible but not that flexible.

It's still a ways away but are you going to be doing the bench/pull meet at rib fest again this Summer? I was talking to a friend about doing a PL comp last weekend and he asked about it. He said he wants to "smash some weights and then destroy some ribs", lol. It might conflict with my hockey playoffs but it would be cool to make it out for it.

Its defintely going to be on again. I'll likely send out the notice in Feb. The OPA just sent out their notice for July's meet, so I figure a month after would be good timing to get people's attention. I recently helped out of provincials and I had lots of positive feedback about the event. Whether that translates into bodies is debateable. Lots of people say they want to but never do. The incentive here is that its not sanctioned and so there is more of an element of fun. Its a way to get the beginner, or the guy'girl who isn't sure whether they want to compete an opportunity to lift in front of a crowd.

Surprising at times how much weight you can lose when you're ill.
 
I have never been sick like this before. I gave my ability to bouce back far more credit than it deserved, obviously.
