There is in theory a “taxpayer” test, and Hamilton is a tax exile in Monaco like a lot of F1 drivers - that’s also the reason David Beckham hasn’t made the cut apparently, plus he’s a brainless hatstand.

Tony Blair conducts his dirty businesses of advising dictators through a web of offshore companies, but as an ex-prime minister he gets a pass (and ordinarily he would have been knighted years ago, but apparently the Queen hates him, like most rationale people).

I see no controversy. My husband was contracted and was on site at McLaren during the Jenson Lewis year so we were mad McLarenites. He is, of our time, our greatest racing driver.

I too don't know why Beckham wasn't knighted. I am kinda glad he hasn't because him and his wife have become somewhat annoying as of late, with them being try hards to push their brand Beckham.
