Tony Ferguson being a POS

What do you mean give him a pass? In what way? Those of us that watched him on TUF realized he has some issues and is a douchebag, but I'm not sure why that matters, should he not be allowed to fight because he's an idiot?

respectfully, you don’t know anyone like sean strickland; he’s operating on a level far above which you cannot comprehend. when he ends up financially successful, with a stable family and fulfilling post-fight career, you’re probably going to attribute it to luck, privilege, racist fans, etc. his humility and self-deprecation obscure the fact that he’s a very disciplined guy with a level head and a winning attitude. he’s navigated the pitfalls of life extremely well and made the most of his opportunities. he made it look easy. if you’re betting on his inevitable downfall, don’t hold your breath.

Sean actually has one of the most balanced views on how to navigate life I've seen.

This is why him Vs Pimblett is a win-win situation. A win either way is the end or beginning of the end for one of their careers.

I find shocking that any org in the would actually authorize Cucuy to continue in contact sports. It's not funny anymore, just very, very sad.

A training partner talking about how Tony tried to intentionally hurt him.

Tony has always come across like a POS to me, between the Verdum situation, how he treated that journalist who asked him about mental health, and all his weird bizarre behavior. Why does the MMA community give him a pass for being a jerk?

I really didn’t care until he started to get in trouble with the law, with his wife (forgot the details). But even at that, who’s to say these other fighters aren’t “jerks?” All you can really do as a fan is watch the fights. Anything else is just wishful thinking or being biased. There’s no way to confirm what any of these guys are like outside of the cage.

Every other day, Sean Strickland is talking about how he wants to kill someone, and would take joy in doing it. It’s crazy what people will let slide if it comes from someone who shares their political beliefs. The dude is a complete loon.

I've said this loads of times on here but Tony has not become weird because of CTE or whatever BS reasons. He has always been like this from the start, because I watched the entire TUF 13 season, that was actually the last TUF that I bothered to watch because I wanted to see the Brock vs JDS fight, which sadly never even happened.. But anyways Tony is a violent alcoholic and very paranoid, everyone was walking on egg shells around him in the TUF house, he was very unpredictable.

Anyone who watched TUF 13 will know exactly what I am talking about. I always enjoyed his fights because he was entertaining and always let go and was always in fun fights, he was fun to watch, but as a person... yeah I imagine he is very difficult to get on with.

When he was arrested because he claimed someone had implanted a computer chip into his leg, everyone forgot about it and moved on the next day, but I found it very worrying because he is clearly a very paranoid person and believes it.
If you make a big stink about the computer chip in your leg you are going to be arrested.
The first rule about the computer chip in your leg: Don't talk about the computer chip in your leg.
(you can short circuit it by taking a batch in apple cider vinegar. but They will know)

I totally believe this random training partner.
I knew the guy was a pos from the "where's your kid at?" moment from TUF, even that sh*t with Werdum showed just how f*cked up in the head that guy is

That just made the Gaethje Ferguson fight twice more enjoyable to watch
the werdum thing was the one time he was right

lol Wetdum would have knocked his teeth off had they scrapped on the spot.

Tony has mental issues and he needs professional help. I hope he doesn’t end up hurting himself or others.

If we are being honest, that dude's testimony doesn't do shit to establish any sort of character portrait of Tony. If you have a sore fucking neck, just skeep the kimura and neck endangering activity altogether. He said it himself, Tony wasn't even pulling on it (which he was trying to avoid), just squeezing it, which is part of the routine...and this porn stache nobody gets angry. And he has all of these preconceived notions that Tony is a scumbag. Basically, he manifested exactly what he imagined Tony would be. I'm not buying any of this bullshit.
kimuras aren't neck endangering activity though, unless some asshole hears 'hey his neck is injured', ignores the arm the kimura training is focused on, and randomly attacks the neck, like Tony did in this story.

Defending this is pretty damn hard to do.

Whats yours ?
Man, on a real note, I liked Donatello cuz of the range in the video games, and they made him super smart which is cool (and people couldn't get cut or stabbed in cartoons, which made Leo and Raph's weapons kinda lame anyway) but every new iteration of Donnie, it's like they try to make him more and more unlikable.

I'm still sticking with him, but boy it's hard

Strickland is like Dexter. He would only murder the bad guys. That's why people like him.
