Bauer had a meltdown on twitter a few years ago because he didn't like how the media was treating Trump. They were just waiting for something like this to happen so they could bury him.

I doubt we'll see any of them do any retractions or folllow-ups.

I'd like to see the media brought into this legal shit as well. It's the only way they're gonna stop pushing their bullshit. "Freedom of the press", which was once a very important staple of a free society, is now a license to lie and defame by greedy corporations pretending to be "news". The sexual assault reasons was just an excuse to get rid of him.

Before all of that happened, Trevor Bauer called out the widespread use of Spider tack and other foreign substances on baseballs to give extra spin. Extra break and spin. He kept talking about it on social media and made official complaints.

When nothing happened, he openly started using it too and detailing it on social media. This started a public feud with the commissioner. This caused a whole controversy where MLB was forced to react and be more stringent with banning foreign substances.

A lot of MLB pitchers ERA's jumped after this. So the MLB commissioner and a lot of players have it in for Bauer. When the false allegations happened, it was an easy excuse to completely ban him.
 
The Dodgers still are paying out his contract if I’m not mistaken.

Good thing they decided to charge these women. I’m not convinced this guy is an angel. There is a reason he wanted this settled and shit not being aired even more than it has. The women caught lying should be held accountable.

Adding Weinstein and masterson was to show how dumb his take was. there are more guys who get off Scott free with their riches intact, than guys who get falsely accused and end up broke. Bauer sued one of the women that blatantly lied and settled for no money.
