Well we had a provincial election the other day here that was projected to be an easy majority win for the liberals who currently held a minority government.

Yeah that's definitely interesting. I was just asking if there have been any other recent major elections (besides the recent Nova Scotia provincial election) that have demonstrated this phenomenon. Atm we don't know if this is just a one off or if the same polling error that obviously exists in the US is also present in Canada.

If it does exist in Canada, then a 5 point lead for the Liberals doesn't seem insurmountable for the Conservatives. But the Liberals are obviously the overwhelming favourite.

Now thankfully we have a progressive conservative majority that won 2 days ago, and knocked it out of the park.
