Really disappointed the food scientists won.

I was rooting for the Soul Surfers to win and the Dentists next.

Check out Season 26, it's still on its 3rd episode and off to a great start.

Dude, spoilers!

Just kidding, I have no earthly idea what you"re talking about.

I doubt Mulder & Scully will be returning, and they will be replaced by wheelchair bound samoan crossdressers.

Haven't we reached the point where a film or TV project would have better chances of succeeding if it was billed as NOT involving M. Night Shyamalan?

The cast looks impressive and the premise is somewhat intriguing, but we've been down this road a few times before...

idk. i have to give a shot at what he comes out with. i still think he can pump out quality work

I just hope they've a damn good story to tell, and aren't just digging it up because of nostalgia.

Seconded. I actually really enjoyed the sequel movie. It felt like a really good self contained episode which I always felt was the series' strong point as opposed to the whole conspiracy/mythology angle. For the life of me I can't recall any "unresolved questions" it left.

Alien Colonization.

I hope the show is slightly retrograded, but there are other "unresolved questions" like Mulder and Scully's stupid kid. I hope Chris Carter and Frank Spotnitz realize their mistakes (especially regarding the final seasons and I Want To Believe) and keep the writing tight and on-point. Bring back what made The X Files great. Mystery, wonder, horror, awe! Don't tie everything together, let the mythos be as it was once alluded to being...

Mulder - "Is there more?"

Well Manicured Man - "More than you'll ever know!"

Danger 5 is bad ass. Nothing like seeing the good guys foil the dumb Nazi's schemes.

If you have Netflix, check it out.

Oh snaps I forgot all about Danger 5. I remember the buzz when it was first being produced. Can't believe that was like 5+ years ago. Thanks for the heads up.

Looking online, Vinnie Jones was supposed to be Johnny Royale back in 2001. Dodged a bullet there.

I hope the X-Files thing happens. I want some closure. Let's finally wrap up everything that has been dangling since.....years.

Fox Television is officially reviving The X-Files for a six-episode limited series. The official announcement follows frequently reoccurring rumors over recent weeks and months.

Series creator Chris Carter will return for the series, along with principal actors David Duchovney as FBI Agent Fox Mulder and Gillian Andersen as Agent Dana Scully. The new series comes thirteen years after the original, Emmy-winning series went off the air.

“I think of it as a 13-year commercial break,” said Carter in a press release. “The good news is the world has only gotten that much stranger, a perfect time to tell these six stories.”

“We had the privilege of working with Chris on all nine seasons of The X-Files – one of the most rewarding creative experiences of our careers – and we couldn’t be more excited to explore that incredible world with him again,” added Dana Walden and Gary Newman, Chairmen and CEOs of Fox Television Group. “The X-Files was not only a seminal show for both the studio and the network, it was a worldwide phenomenon that shaped pop culture – yet remained a true gem for the legions of fans who embraced it from the beginning. Few shows on television have drawn such dedicated fans as The X-Files, and we’re ecstatic to give them the next thrilling chapter of Mulder and Scully they’ve been waiting for.”

The X-Files originally premiered in September 1993. Over the course of its nine-season run, the influential series grew from sci-fi cult favorite to mainstream hit. The show, which earned 16 Emmy Awards, five Golden Globes and a Peabody Award, follows FBI special agents Scully (Anderson) and Mulder (Duchovny) as they investigate unexplained cases – “X-Files” – for which the only answers involve paranormal phenomena.

Two X-Files movies followed, but fans have longed to see Mulder and Scully return to television. They’re finally getting their wish, if only for six episodes. No further details on the series’ plot have been revealed at this time.

Singer? Euh, I dunno.

Like the idea of a Captain Worf series.

Guess this is where I should have stuck my question about Dig, couldnt find this thread for the life of me on my mobile earlier;

So... I can't put my finger on exactly what intrigues me about this show, but it has become one of my most anticipated shows each week.

Anyone else even watching it? Any opinions on it?
