Elliot is a difficult guy to look good against, and truth be told, I thought he was going to be too much for Mokaev at this stage of his career. Not a bloodbath, but I enjoyed that fight and it picked the energy up a bit for me. Needed more fouls, though.

Mokaev played the game with hands up and down...Tim could have blasted him into oblivion with knees. Instead, Tim can't do anything, then Mokaev gets a nice reversal that leads to dominant position and eventually the sub.

Full credit to Mokaev for operating under the rule set...but it is so stupid from a fight perspective, IMHO.

People calling for a DQ for "spiking" which is a rule that is not being enforced since any slam has some kinda angle (no slam can be 100% 12-6) and legal knees.
