He won that by clean head kicks and that finishing sequence in round 5. Great Job Allen and Curtis. Pretty entertaining fight and a good question of whether Allen has become a bit more durable and able to adapt when he is hurt. 2-2 and the fight was decided in the final exchange.

Sucks for Allen but I don't see him doing well vs the top 5. Guys like Rob, Cannonier, Strickland etc... all know how to defend takedowns and are obviously far more skilled than Allen striking .

That's the only way. He did fuck all the other 4:50 of the fight. Garbage sub "attempts". If tearing your hammie loses you a round, looking pathetic and turtling should lose you the round too.

I know he wins by RNC alot but he's got to be more versatile with is attacks if he wants success at the top. This is his go to move which risks making him predictable.
