They might've had more attention if it was Mokaev or Umar headlining.

It was supposed to be in Saudi, so was supposed to be a showcase for Gaziev I imagine.

Anyone else think Umar and Mokaev's previous opponents were more interesting than who they're fighting now? Perez is on a 2 fight losing streak and Umar is facing a guy making his UFC debut.

Kudos to them for staying busy but neither matchup is very compelling.

Considering everyone else in the top 5 Pantoja has beat already(Aside from Albazi, but he pulled out of a fight) and there's an Abu Dhabi/Brazil card coming up.. There's a slight chance they might express him to a title shot after this fight.

Just noticed Ariel Helwani's twin is fighting Javid Basharat on the prelims. This might be the best fight on the card.

Javid is a future BW title contender and Aieman is on a nice run himself. Surprised this isn't on the main card.

That's a very real possibility.

Mokaev has said his goal is to break Jon Jones record for becoming the youngest UFC champion. Jones was 23 when he won the title. Mokaev is about the same age now.

I'd like to see him fight Royval or Moreno first but I can see the UFC giving him the title shot if Pantoja is out of opponents.

It's a sneaky good card full of good matchups in the lower weightclasses.

It's one of those cards where in 2-3 years, one or two of these guys will be contenders or even champs.
