also betting on tyson fury omg i was crying watching some the documentary stuff on youtuber earlier. those docs have just about single handedly swung the betting lines for him against all odds, just like tyson fury himself is a story of defying the odds (yeah yeah other fighters do it too, but ask them this, were they ever born at 1.5 lbs).

I encourage everybody lurking in these betting threads to NOT JUST LOOK TO CONFIRM THEIR BIAS. Look for counter evidence and arguments to your bet. I remember when I lost my big bet on Roy Nelson to beat Derrick Lewis. I was reading all the comments on this fight (they were not that many, I guess people knew it's a 50/50 fight) and I was going to bet Roy either way, but wanted to read something that will make my mind at ease with that bet. Well, if you want to find somebody that is 100% sure in whatever thing you are, you will always find that guy. So be aware of that.

I tried to find counter arguments for my Martin bet and the best I could do is that worst case scenario is another OAM fight. I'm fine with that with the odds I got on Martin.

yeah, here are some lessons I learned about gambling
1) your BR should never be more than 3% of your TOTAL asset
2) you should never exceed more than 4 units even though you are completely sure
3) do not listen to people, make your own decisions!
4) if you find yourself losing more than 50% of the times and losing is unacceptable to you, get outta gambling
5) if you are too emotional, gambling is not for you
6) 99% does not mean 100%

Honestly I dont know why you guys waste so much time with the endless discussion about Hunt and Willis. That fight screams "pass" for me.
I know one of them is going to win and there is money to be made because is a pick em in the bookies... but there are some intangibles when a guy is almost 45 years old and the other one has yet to face legit competititon.
There are like 10 more fights on the same card and a full card next day. I dont see the need to go full degen on that when Im sure it should be more "predictable" results on the card.
