What would happen to the UFC if a fighter KO'd Dana White post fight

Lets say Dana is in the ring after the main event of a fight. He has a verbal exchange with a fighter and suddenly POW, said fighter just slugs Dana White right in the chin and puts him out. For the sake of argument lets imagine it's McGregor.

What do you think happens to the sport? Would it become more popular? Less? Would they call it "human cockfighting" again and try to ban it? Would McGregor go to jail?

Im pretty sure unless dana is making a fuck load of money from it (like a conor feud) I think he would make it his lifes mission to ruin that fighters life. Dana has the money and likely the influence to fuck with that fighter pretty hard.
