Where would your rank Khamzat Chimaev at MW?

Yeah I agree. we’re about to find out how good he really is, fighting the top guys in his natural weight class. Size will make a difference based on how he fights. I expect him to win the title, I just don’t think he’ll keep it long. I can see a few guys beating him at MW over 5 rounds

I think where the UFC has him (#9) is fair. He will move up quickly IMO. I think he is very good and I am more impressed with the Usman win than many other sherdoggers seem to be.

He obviously shoudn't be ranked. He hasn't beaten a top 20 MW, and his best MW win is against an old, fading WW who had lost back-to-back fights...and Khamzat arguably lost 2 rounds.

if his cardio holds, he will be a tough out for anybody below 185. Just depends.

Would love to see Eblen vs Khamzat. Not many knows Eblen, but he might be better than Khamzat.

Khamzat's toughest fight might be outside UFC actually at WW or MW. Amosov and Eblen. I actually think those guys might be better than Khamzat with 1/10th the hype.

Fringe Top 10 at best until he beats a ranked MW. I think he has some definite challenges at MW currently, but think he'd have had even more challenges 5 to 10 years ago when guys like Weidman, Jacare, Rockhold, Yoel, etc. were in their primes...even Whittaker would've been a tougher fight 5 years ago though I still think he'll be a challenge.

never saw the gassing, just saw the video and heard the stories of how their training went. Khamzat doesn’t seem to handle his emotions mid fight, but by all accounts, in training he can go all day

yeah Khamzat looks like a beast in training. Not sure why he's gassing in fights so much. He won't get far if it's like that.
