Why couldn't conor knock floyd out?

Not in boxing. Floyd wasn't worried at all about his "power"
but but all of fans were saying conor was going to be the hardest puncher hes ever faced, even more powerful than canelo?? One of these conor fans even said conor reminded him of a young julian jackson, and kavanaugh said if mayweather walked straight into conor, hed get knocked out.

So they were all wrong??

He explained it in a video backstage.

He said Floyd has a good chin and was able to take the early shots. He hit him but not enough and solid.

He said Floyd kept his composure and changed his style. Hands up, head on chest etc. He said basically that he got owned by a good fighter with a good chin and a shit load of experience.

He also said that if they were to rematch he would win and it wasn't a skill difference it was a experience difference. LOL..come on son. There was a skill difference in boxing for sure.

No rematch. Conor did good but he looked awkward as fuck in there honestly. Leave the punching only matches to the masters of that.

He also said he couldve continued and the ref shouldnt have stopped the fight. Fucking lying sack of shyte

I've noticed that Conor McGregor fans like to say silly things that can't really be proven definitively one way or another. This is a good example of that. Obviously that was not a big uppercut, at all. Floyd also obviously showed no signs of it bothering him, at all.

But...what if it did....and Floyd's just super composed? Lol.

There's this weird WWE fantasy land that Conor fans live in, and nothing will ever change that. He can get beat up, choked out, or anything else. You guys will still be there with your excuses and alternate facts.

Conor haters like you try to rewrite the history books. The fight was competitive until McGregor gassed.

There are gifs out there where Floyd gets hit square by Conor.

Floyd puts a grin on his face and keeps moving forward.

It's myth. Mcgregor has good power in MMA with 4 oz gloves, but against a guy who has a good chin and knows how to roll and deflect punches with his gloves and shoulders. He looked amateurish out there, especially when he was tired

Cause Conor doesn't have the power of an elite boxer. He's nowhere near Cotto, Mosley, Maidana, Pacquiao,

Most of conors punches are slapping arm punches, which are effective in MMA due to the small glove size allowing for very precise placement, but they don't work in boxing.

I'll have to watch the fight again but I don't think Conor landed any hard straight punches that Floyd didn't take at least a little bit off. His best punch of the fight was the counter uppercut in the first, but it didn't land perfectly either.

By contrast floyd landed dozens of clean hard straight rights that nailed conor flush.

Nah Floyd played with him like a cat with a mouse. Problem is you're too much of a novice to see it

He could have continued for sure. I just saw a replay and he said "that's BS" to the ref immediately. He would have continued for sure also until he was flat on the mat.

Really, is that it?

No, Floyd's defensive skill had a lot to do with it; he didn't allow Conor to get into a good position to throw his power left hand and land it cleanly.

Conor's punches rely more on speed and catching the opponent off-guard through countering than raw power. But Floyd is too conscious of his defense to allow him to get caught unaware.

Mayweather willingly took unnecessary damage, just to play "cat and mouse"???

Mayweather finished the fight as soon as he was able to. You act like Mayweather could have KO'd McGregor in the first round, but kept it going intentionally to make it seem competitive. That's ridiculous.

Possibly, McGregor out-landed Floyd when both fighters were fresh.
Come on man Floyd threw something like 6 in the first and 9 in the second. There's a reason he outlanded Floyd and it was all part of the plan.

Wow you really are a noob

Conor is full of shit. He didnt throw a damn punch in that entire tko sequence and was doing the james brown all over the ring. What the hell do u expect the ref to do

Don't bother with him, he doesn't understand it. Way too advanced for him to conceptualtize

He quit, Floyd broke him mentally and physically

Do you have to be a plat to start a poll? Can someone start a poll in this subforum on whether people think Conor did better or worse than they expected? I am really curious what the monday morning quarterback consensus is now that some of the hype is dying down.
