Why is UFC 299 an incomparably better card than UFC 300?

Funny thing is if 299 was 300 and 300 was 299, we’d be saying the 299 with Alex vs Hill should’ve been 300 and is incomparable to a 300 headliner by Sean and Chito.

If ufc 300 was the fights you have in orange, then that would put it much, much closer to the hype Dana gave it.

So really 300 just needs 1 more higher level fight like the Dustin vs BSD

Even aljo and andrade on 300 are okay. Andrade always down for violence. And Aljo will certainly be looking to put on an impressive performance.

From top to bottom it’s a pretty damn good card for the MMA purists. Not to mention that Alex vs Hill is a unification bout.

299 does have MVP making his debut though. Also, BSD is a potential star in the making.

The only winners here are mma fans. Two stacked cards in a row.

I think 300 is better, tbh. The main event itself has no starpower compared to 299, but the entire card is on the same if not better level than 299. The prelims, everything. 300 is an amazing card. But I'm also coming around to the idea of Justin vs Max more so maybe that's why.

I don't understand. UFC 300 was supposed to be the best card ever according to the red goof.

It's not like there has been big names dropping due to injuries or pissing hot like Conor and Jones for UFC 200. I'd argue there's only one compelling fight on UFC 300 in Arman vs Oliveira. That's it. I count 7 on UFC 299.

This is pretty odd.

Main event, WMMA fight, Gaethje vs Max, Oliveira vs Armen, Jiri vs Rakic; all better than their counterparts.
Almost no one cares about Omalley rematching an undeserving Chito and the only must see fight on the card is Dustin vs BSD.
