Like it or not, fella, police are charged with law enforcement. Your odds of being harmed by a cop are already astronomically low; to be killed by one is lower than bee sting and lightning strike, even lower when you just act like a mensch and comply. It's not asking too much and it's really simple. If you have a gripe bring it to their attention and follow reasonable procedures. It's not wise to fight, argue, escalate, etc... when you're dealing with someone that might very well "fuck up" and cause you harm or bring it upon yourself through your inability to act in reasonable manner.

Let me ask you this; considering the vast majority of the victims of black crimes; especially violent crime, is other blacks (we had 205 murders last year of which were nearly all were black victims and black suspects)...and the descriptions happen to match lots of innocent black men/women (unfortunately) how do you propose the police actually combat this issue without the knee jerk jumps to "racism, profiling, etc..." ?

Edit: Also, it never seemed at all logical to me to "bother" or "harass" someone "for no reason..." An officer stands to gain nothing from that except negative outcomes.

That's my entire point that they aren't even armed. They handle the exact same problems without the need for lethal force.

Removing emotion of unarmed citizens being killed by police, 1 in 60 police assaults result in lethal force in America according to your own statistics. 0 in 2,000,000 police assaults result in lethal force in Britain.

Are you going to suggest that criminals in Britain aren't as dangerous with their fists as American criminals? Are British police all super bad asses compared to American police? Or can we just fucking admit that there's a use of force problem in America???
