Which MILITARY UNIFORM is the best in history, in your opinion?

Their shitty ideology and murderous ways aside, Nazis had some slick uniform.

A thread could just be made about this guy. The guy was probably the most prolific bomber in history. If you made a movie about him, people wouldn't believe it.

Speaking of WWII movies I’d love to see made: I read an incredible story a few days back regarding:
The Charlie Brown and Franz Stigler incident which occurred on 20 December 1943, when, after a successful bomb run on Bremen, 2nd Lt Charles "Charlie" Brown's B-17 Flying Fortress (named "Ye Olde Pub") was severely damaged by German fighters. Luftwaffe pilot Franz Stigler had the opportunity to shoot down the crippled bomber, but did not and escorted the bomber out of German air space. After an extensive search by Brown, the two pilots met each other 40 years later and developed a friendship that lasted until Stigler's death in March 2008.

All dress uniforms are shit. If it isn't functional it shouldn't be issued.

That is a really cool story. Stigler was lucky to not be shot down himself by the crew of the B-17. Saved the lives of 10 men. I wonder why he did that? What kept other German pilots from shooting the B-17 down? Those were 'rules-of-engagement' from WWI pilots. Back in the days when there was still a gentlemen's agreement and honor between pilots. A crippled plane was not to be shot down. Pilots did not and would not wear a parachute.

The 'Red Baron', Manfred von Richthofen (German), was very particular about that. After Richthofen was shot down, he was buried by the British, with honors, in 1918.

Good stuff man. I’ve been researching WWII for a while now ever since the history channel actually showed history things and I watched all those old WWII documentaries growing up....it’s incredible how many stories are out there still to be discovered. There’s a book written about the incident and Stigler has gone on record many times stating that he considered the men in the B-17 the same as men in parachutes...his sense of honor could not let him finish them off. They were trying to get home and he was going to let them. Someone made a mini digital movie I enjoyed. Kind of crazy to think both pilots lived long enough to not only find and meet after 40 years but become good friends before dying. I found the idea of a B-27 being escorted by a Messerschmitt pretty cool

What happened to the Jewish population in Tunisia is not my belief it happened

I didn't ask what happened to the Jews in Tunisia. I asked for proof that Rommel was responsible for it.

Rommel's army was occupying the city and supporting the einsatzgruppe attached to it . And Rommel knew what would happen to the Palestinian Jews if they actually won the war in North Africa.

Well, they were designed by Hugo Boss...
