A thread could just be made about this guy. The guy was probably the most prolific bomber in history. If you made a movie about him, people wouldn't believe it.

Luftwaffe pilot Franz Stigler had the opportunity to shoot down the crippled B-17 bomber, but did not and escorted the bomber out of German air space.
That is a really cool story. Stigler was lucky to not be shot down himself by the crew of the B-17. Saved the lives of 10 men. I wonder why he did that? What kept other German pilots from shooting the B-17 down? Those were 'rules-of-engagement' from WWI pilots. Back in the days when there was still a gentlemen's agreement and honor between pilots. A crippled plane was not to be shot down. Pilots did not and would not wear a parachute.
The 'Red Baron', Manfred von Richthofen (German), was very particular about that. After Richthofen was shot down, he was buried by the British, with honors, in 1918.
What happened to the Jewish population in Tunisia is not my belief it happened
I didn't ask what happened to the Jews in Tunisia. I asked for proof that Rommel was responsible for it.
