Also, not fight related but Buakaw launched this week the Buakaw fight gear products and had a special event going on at the Big C mall in bangkok where he was interviewed and fans could meet him.

it's not "Thai Fight" it's Buakaw's own promotion "All Star Fight". There's also the Phoenix event in the same day in Phuket with the rematches Seksan vs. Rotlek and Petwason vs. Kaonar. Should be good fights.

BTW was Petchanong a good fighter in the Stadiums? he looks like one of those muay fimeus who half asses his way to beating foreigners but was awesome at the stadiums.

Seems like a skillful fighter to me, train alongside with nong-o in the old sit or gym

Do you mean "trained"? He trains out of Banchamek gym now afaik.

he looks very skilled but at the same looks like he's barely trying in the fights I watched.

he means trained. He spent from childhood to 18 0r 19 at the Sit Or camp. He then left and went to live/train in Australia at Superbon's brothers gym (kongsak muangsin). He came back to Thailand right around the time buakaw started banchamek gym and joined there. I do not believe he was ever a stadium champ but I know he fought some great fighters like Orono wor petchpun so he was high level

I could be completely wrong, but when I read his name I think of a guy that fought at 140, maybe about 6 or 7 years ago at a time the division didn't have much going on.

I don't think he was elite like let's say Sangmanee but he was good enough to get matched against Singdam and Orono

Does anyone have a live stream link for All Star Fight today?

It finished about 30 minutes ago. The Phoenix 7 main event now on their facebook page and fite tv if that's any consolation.

Buakaw vs Luis Passos fight

All star whole event(bad quality but still)

A pretty nice card on thursday:

Phetsupan Por.Daorungruang vs. Konkhon Kiatpontip

Kompatak Sinbeemuaythai vs. Pajanban Sor.Jor.Vichitpadriew

(Main) Pichitchai Tor.Surat - Kongthoranee Sor.Sommai

I'm expecting good fights from this.

Anyone who saw yodwichas fight the other night shows exactly why he shouldn't be competing in TopKing. Felt bad for his opponent. He had no business being in there. There are a select few that can compete with him at his weight in muaythai but everyone else are lambs to the slaughter. He should either fight at catch weights in the stadiums against other thais or make that full kickboxing transition. Mismatch fun should be over now. He's been doing this for over 2 years since his last fight against Rittewada. Time for him to step it up and test himself against some of the best in kb.

It takes a promoter to offer him those fights.

It's not like he had a fight booked with Petrosyan or anything...

So why do you keep begging for your favorite thais to fight internationally? Should be pretty obvious that this is going to be the result.

Only way I can see him tested is if he can magically fight at 140 or under in the stadiums again or switches to kickboxing where the rule set balances out the competitiveness. Anyone he fights at his weight in muaythai is a mismatch. Maybe yodsanklai a couple others can make it competitive but eventually the'll get manhandled in the clinch too.
