Bondi Junction Westfield killer Joel Cauchi had profiles on various escort websites, where he offered services for both men and women.

The death toll seems to have stabilised at six. The sixth dead victim has been identified as Yixuan Cheng, a 27 (or 25) year-old Chinese economics student at the University of Sydney.

Cauchi's escort adverts, on sites such as Australia Cracker, Empire Escorts and Escorts Australia, offered services 'too graphic to publish' to both sexes. His parents are said to be very religious.

Sydney church stabbing: Bishop attacked during sermon

Police say they responded to reports of multiple people being stabbed in western Sydney.

A bishop and several other people have been stabbed during a sermon in Sydney that was being streamed online, local media report.

The incident reportedly happened on Monday night in the suburb of Wakeley.

Police responded to reports that a number of people had been stabbed but said none of their injuries were life-threatening.

They added that a man had been arrested and was helping with their inquiries. The motive for the attack is unknown.

It was also not immediately clear what weapon was used in the attack, which is reported to have happened at the Christ The Good Shepherd Church.

Those hurt are all thought to be men aged between 20 and 70.

There is no suggestion that this and the Bondi stabbing are linked.

Inspector is apparently the second-highest rank in the NSW Police, and Scott has 19 years experience and has been described as a 'very senior inspector' and has won various awards. Checking hotel liquor licenses doesn't seem like the kind of job someone like that would be sent on. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
